A small plantation town called Hoonoka’a on The Big Island of Hawai’i is where I grew up.I enjoyed working with my hands. Taking things apart and trying to put him back together because I was intrigued by learning how things worked.Not everything was put back together. My Uncle's Harley Davidson is an example.My grandfather was a heavy equipment operator. My uncles all took up trades as electricians, plumbers, and general contractors.This allowed me to learn the trade by rolling my sleeves and getting my hands dirty, which fueled my passion for working with my hands building, repairing, and remodeling commercial, multi-family, and residential properties.Over the years, as I climbed the ranks, I saw I wanted to do business and run a company differently.Creating a culture where employees own their work because they are proud of each project. No matter the size, because the little things matter.Instead of being hands-on in repairing buildings, I am building a company from the ground up that will last forgenerations to come.To do so, I am working on myself by investing in leadership courses.
