Helped create and establish the Sanctions Compliance program, which included:- Implementing sanctions screening for the entire user base- Reviewing and adjudicating all Sanctions, PEP and Adverse Media alerts- Helped implement the Sanctions Policies and Procedures- Performed AdHoc reviews/investigations with a potential sanctions nexus- Served as a Sanctions subject matter expert within the compliance team- Gained experience with all OFAC reporting requirements and helped initiate the sanctions controls the newly imposed sanctions regulations on Russia.

Worked at the Fifth District Courthouse for a summer externship. Reported directly to the law clerk that worked for the five judges at the courthouse. Researched caselaw, statutes and regulations within the laws of Utah. Communicated on a daily basis with the judges of the courthouse on research methods and improvement.
