Airbus A350 Exhaust Systems(UTAS Bought Goodrich July, 2012)Drive performance of skilled manufacturing operations such as production machining, final assembly, layup of exotic metals to build assemblies for aircraft engine hot-zones, sheet metal fabrication. -Plan and allocate resources, materials and scheduling of equipment for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel-Establish physical layout of equipment and most efficient sequence of operations and work flow -Plan and schedule direct and indirect labor workflow and organize teams to meet production schedules-Evaluates and monitors employee performance through performance plans and assessments, developing performance objectives, coaching and counseling and providing and documenting appropriate training-Ensures team conformance to Business Unit policies and procedures-Resolves employee conflicts-Troubleshoots and solves production issues-Initiates or recommends plans to motivate employees to achieve goals-Identifies and implements process improvements to current production process-Prepares and presents information such as results and processes to management and employees-Champion’s the organization’s culture and communicates vision and goals regularly-Communicate with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments-Demonstrates equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees or assigns employees to experienced workers for training-Interprets specifications, blueprints, work instructions and company policies and procedures for workers -Maintains operations data such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of results-Comply with EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company rules and requirements -Report to upper management any conditions or practices that are either unsafe or that may adversely impact the environment -Recommend improved EH&S practices

-Supervision of hourly employees-Administrative activities associated with shop management and work team facilitation-Initiates, performs and coordinates activities to ensure compliance with work rules, customer requirements and other applicable laws and regulations-Assist and lead work teams in the production of aircraft hot zone exhausts and leads continuous improvement activities within the assigned areas of responsibility-Ensure employee adherence to work rules-Certification of labor records-Communication of the requirements for employee compliance with engineering, customer and safety requirements.-Attendance tracking-Corrective action administration-Overtime tracking, control and administration-Assist employees in the resolution of problems related to their work activity-Ensure a clean and safe working environment-Communicate business goals to employees-Leadership and guidance for employees in the identification of opportunities for improvement.

Technical focal point for manufacturing aircraft engine exhaust components. Responsible for the technical performance and engineering schedule and cost aspects of required projects as a single point of contact for United Technologies Aerospace SystemsDownstream support of tooling and machiningDevelop documentation, planning, tool orders, standard work instructions, etc., in support of developmental and production processesProvide corrective and preventative actions for quality issuesProvide technical support to the shop floorParticipate in Continuous improvement event teams to address various producibility issues and opportunities.

-Implement unconventional operations by air, land, or sea during combat or peacetime as member of an elite team -Activities include offensive raids, demolitions, reconnaissance, search and rescue, and counterterrorism-Specialized training in swimming, diving, parachuting, survival, & emergency medicine -Duties include: *conducting advanced reconnaissance operations and collecting intelligence information *recruiting, training, and equipping foreign forces *conducting raids and invasions on enemy territories *laying and detonating explosives for demolition targets *locating, identifying, defusing, and disposing of ordnance *operating and maintaining sophisticated communications and intelligence equipment *performing and training high level medical procedures and techniques

Instruct students in all aspects of FAA General, Airframe and Powerplant categories. -Follow Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 147 rules for aviation maintenance technology programs. -Support students in the program and make appropriate referrals for student services. -Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and improve the aviation program. -Participate in college-wide activities and committees.-Commit to state wide implementing of common AMT curriculum.

Supervise maintenance staff to ensure that aircraft is in good mechanical condition and is safe for flight. -Ensure that maintenance team works in accordance with company standards. -Coordinate with aircraft controller and mangers to achieve quality and cost targets. -Define and implement improvement procedures for aircraft maintenance. -Ensure maintenance team follows environmental and safety regulations. -Perform recruitment, training, performance review, promotion, reassignment of maintenance staff. -Guide and train team members in aircraft maintenance activities. -Develop scope, budget and timelines for new project. -Develop Statement of Work for new project. -Coordinate and direct maintenance staff for periodic maintenance, inspections, repairs, modifications or replacements of aircraft components. -Participate in aircraft evaluations/inspections and recommend necessary troubleshooting steps.
