  Tyson began his financial services career in 2001, upon obtaining a Finance degree with a concentration in Financial Planning from the University of Toledo. After launching his business from his college apartment, he opened the first office in Northwest Ohio for WealthWave in 2002. Tyson was attracted to the entrepreneurial opportunity WealthWave provides him to run not just an office, but an operation of his own. He believes he can help more people through building an organization of financial professionals in addition to working with clients. He has a passion as a leader and mentor to help guide people through a process of realizing their full potential. Throughout his career, Tyson has developed and trained dozens of financial professionals and has become an advocate for change within the financial services industry. With a sincere interest in helping mold the next generation of financial professionals in our region, he serves on the Finance Department's Board of Executive Advisors at the University of Toledo. He is also frequently brought in to speak to Junior and Senior business classes at area universities on topics such as entrepreneurship and financial management.In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Tyson is highly engaged serving his personal clients. He strives to build trust relationships with every client he serves and has built his extensive client base purely through referrals. His passion for helping people is rooted in the belief that if he can help improve a family's financial situation, every other area of their lives will be influenced in a positive way. He feels that helping people navigate their financial lives and guiding them towards financial independence is one of the noblest causes in American business.Tyson and his wife Leah live in Perrysburg, OH with their children Logan, Makenna, Ethan, and Colton.
