I am a Senior Scientist at AbCellera. As part of the protein engineering team, I develop and implement high throughput screening techniques for antibody engineering and development. I have gained experience in coordinating programs that leverage high throughput antibody engineering to advance candidates to IND enabling studies. I have developed an understanding of the drug development process, from early discovery through to development candidates.I am co-founder of the company ReneuBio. During my postdoctoral work at Stanford, I led the development of an in vitro genome-wide screening platform, identifying over 300 gene knockouts that specifically restore the function of aged neural stem cells. To accelerate those discoveries to the clinic, I created an in vivo CRISPR-Cas9 functional screening platform, which enabled us to pinpoint 23 gene knockouts with a remarkable ability to rejuvenate neural stem cells and enhance neurogenesis in the aging brain. Building on this research, ReneuBio is leveraging these discoveries and screening platforms to develop novel compounds that promote neural stem cell activity and facilitate brain regeneration.
