Primarily focused on leading the origination of new opportunities, negotiations and the overall management of the process in support of the Business and Corporate functions.Lead or oversee the process of deal implementation in the area of Acquisitions, Investments, Divestments, Licensing and Collaborations, world-wide in accordance with the Bayer CropScience Strategy and Business Development goals. - Main Responsibilities:1. Lead project analysis for the Deal Team such as presentation content, business overview, high level financial view, and strategic fit2. Lead, steer or support complex licensing and contract negotiations and work with all functions required for strategy and business endorsement plus those for contract drafting and endorsement (Legal, IP, Finance, Accounting, Tax, Transaction).3. Lead Opportunity Origination: scouting and generating opportunities (actively seek) and prepare opportunities brought to BCS via external means (resulting from reactive screening) - based on the agreed BCS strategies and a landscape analysis.3. Initiate, lead and manage the entire process of evaluation of the opportunity through the respective approval process and governance bodies and until final signature and closing or the hand-over to appropriate deal execution and Post Merger Integration units.

Regional Head of F&AAs part of the worldwide F&A Management Team define the strategy and policy of the F&A division. Ensure that the F&A departments in the assigned countries run smoothly and consistent in line with both the local regulations and Nunhems F&A policy in order to ensure a regional trustworthy and compliant F&A execution.Crop ControllingBe a partner in strategic business decision-making by preparing, discussing and finalizing the worldwide business plans and budgets in line with the crop strategies. Inform stakeholders about these plans and their progress, opportunities and threats concerning the crop in order to get insight in the current and expected profitability of each crop thus increasing the companies’ long and short term profitability.Country Head• Facilitates and supports the core business in the country (crops and core functions)• Decides how decisions of the core business are implemented in the country: compliant with global policies/local regulations• The Country Head is operationally supported by local staff functions• Enforces a good working climate for local employees• Is the face of Nunhems in the country representing Nunhems inside/outside the country• Crisis Management for quick decisions specially related to the welfare of the employees and business e.g. claims, complaints, other natural calamities and risk management• Responsible for administrative reporting of all functions• Cultivates good working relations with Bayer (participates in the country council Bayer)
