I Demonstrate and teach laboratory techniques and molecular methods for units such as 'synthetic genomics' and ‘Microbiology and the Environment'. Students are introduced to bioinformatic tools for analysing and designing new genetic circuits. I then assist in the application of this knowledge through a research project where they design, edit and implement genetic programs in vitro and in live organisms.
