𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘅 - 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗟 𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲I started Zerapix, a software development company specializing in ML, in 2020. At the time I was a partner in a public accounting firm looking for a way to reduce my tax-season hours without reducing my revenues. I quickly determined technology was the way to go, but current software offerings just didn't provide what I was looking for.After reconnecting with an old friend from college, Carl Hurdman, I decided it was time to stop waiting for someone else to write the software I needed and just do it myself.Now a year and half later our little company has grown to employ 7 software developers and we're nearly ready to unleash our masterpiece on the world. What started as a way to automate receipt and invoice collection and processing, has now grown into a fully customizable machine learning engine that can be trained to collect and process any type of document or data and feed it directly into your data pipeline.We've landed our first large client and are working with several more incredibly interested parties and we haven't even finished the software yet. But then who doesn't want to fully automate their data ingestion and processing?What do you want to automate today?𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁I graduated from BYU with my Masters in Tax and Accounting in 2001 and spent 20 years as a certified public accountant (CPA) working with Grow Rasmussen LLP in Boise, Idaho. After 9 years there, I was offered a partnership and quickly became an expert in flowthrough taxation and IT system design and implementation.I spent the next 11 years building a loyal client base that trusted me with all their largest financial transactions and tax planning. My clientele ranged from small, mom & pop shops in various industries that made only small profits to some of the largest businesses in Idaho which generated annual revenues in excess of $125 million annually.Along the way I developed financial expertise in a wide range of industries and positions. After starting up a bookkeeping arm for our firm and growing it rapidly I quickly determined that most of the work surrounding bookkeeping was fairly monotonous and time consuming. This led to the creation of Zerapix above.
