As the sole director and original founder, I oversee the daily operations of Internet Communications Inc (ICI) a Fixed Wireless Internet Service Provider. Based in Franklin, Indiana ICI has become one of the largest WISP's in South Central Indiana that uses the Cambium Wireless platform (former Motorola Canopy). The company started with just one access point in 2006 and has since grown to roughly thirty-five across six counties.Daily tasks have me heavily involved with the entire network infrastructure, upgrades and build outs including but not limited to: network design, IP routes, server configurations, wireless radio configurations and deployments, customer access, routers, tower climbs etc. My continued involvement ensures that I know about the network equipment used and how it works including issues related to the spectrum itself.Through various partnerships and relationships, I have been involved in supporting and deploying equipment for the Wireless Telecom industry as well. Internet Communications Inc has done work (as a third party sub-contractor) for companies like Sprint, T-Mobile, Comcast and AT&T. Services include fiber locates, removal of equipment, Power Wave installs, and 4G new builds.Through the years, I have been involved in various negotiations and talks as the industry goes through consolidation. Specifically, I was involved in communications related to the potential sale of Motorola's Fixed Wireless division to Cambium networks. Through my partnerships and relationships, I work with some of the best people in both the Wireless Broadband and Wireless Telecom industry. I am truly blessed to have been given a chance to work and learn from these people, many of whom have become good friends.
