As Business Manager I am involved in developing, and responsible for managing, the execution of the vision established by the owners. This includes process management and improvement, performance management and metrics management to ensure scaleable and profitable growth.

The position has overall responsibility for three distinct departments spanning Australia, New Zealand and the UK. 1. The ICT department 2. SecureTech: --- Car Park maintenance services --- Car Park equipment installation --- Pre-sales technical consultation 3. Customer Care Centre --- 24/7 carpark incident response --- Remote monitoring of facilitiesAs CIO I am responsible for setting the strategy and overall direction for all ICT functions to deliver a cost effective platform in alignment with the corporate objectives of Secure Parking. As CIO I manage a small internal IT team plus an extensive network of external vendors to provide Secure Parking’s infrastructure, software and application requirements.As CIO I am also responsible for the SecureTech department which undertakes the support and automation of carparks. In this role I head a team of project managers, technicians, electricians and the various support staff required to assist in the efficient operation of all automated carparks. SecureTech undertakes both planned maintenance and emergency break-fix work. I have overall responsibility for the financial and operational management of the Customer Care Centre (CCC). The prime objective of the CCC is the provision of timely, professional and high quality intercom and phone support to customers using Secure Parking facilities. The CCC supports the Operations department with remote monitoring, alarm response and afterhours carpark access control. SecureTech and CCC are profit centres, I am held accountable for both the revenues and costs of these centres. The CIO is instrumental in setting internal charge back rates, profit targets and responsible for maintaining the financial discipline of both departments.

As Head of IT I have overall responsibility for corporate ICT and the car park requirements of the Secure infrastructure. I have been charged with bringing an innovative and business focused approach to IT at Secure.

Managed the IT and associated services at Stark Engineering Consulting. At Stark EC, there is a strong conviction in the benefits of modern IT solutions to add value to internal processes such as quality and safety assurance. IT also plays a big role in our operation and maintenance support of Sydney Water's distributed energy portfolio. As Stark EC continues to grow, John was invited in to help with some of the more intricate system interactions between front-line field devices and help with back office IT.

Member of the Global IT Council consisting of regional IT heads (Australia, US, UK and Europe).Deputising for the Managing Director on a regular and extended basis.
