Assisted in the planning of the 3rd Annual Indoor Ag-Con, a conference that unites industry leaders in indoor agriculture, the practice of growing crops and raising fish in hydroponic, aquaponic and aeroponic systems in warehouses, greenhouses and containers. Was involved with Indoor Ag-Con since April 2014, where I assisted with event planning and coordination for 2nd Annual Indoor Ag-Con.

As NIREC’s policy analyst, I researched and monitored renewable energy matters in Nevada with a statewide focus on its development and implementation. Collaborated with officials and regulators to advance the deployment of green technology in Nevada. In addition to research efforts I assisted NIREC’s work as an intermediary for the creation of an innovation-based economy in Nevada by encouraging the development of green technology at Nevada’s research institutions, promoting clean energy business, and championing the development of utility scale renewable energy capabilities.

I worked with legislators, government officials, businesses, and non-profit corporations to advocate for energy, health, housing and the mineral exploration industries. Duties included legal research, lobbying, copy production, bill tracking and weekly reports for clients.
