With an education focused around fish and wildlife biology, I have developed a diverse range of skill sets in the fields of fisheries assessment, environmental and watershed monitoring, wildlife and migratory bird management, terrestrial and aquatic restoration and a diverse range of stewardship based volunteer experiences. With a long time interest in cold water fisheries beginning as a child, volunteering with Friends of the Grand River as an obsessed, young fly fisher learning to tie my own flies; I have been lucky enough to experience some of the premier cold water fisheries in the world as both an angler and guide. My passion for these resources has only grown since my youth, as has my interest in protecting and improving them. I am always searching for opportunities to grow and apply my knowledge and experience of habitat restoration, stream rehabilitation, environmental monitoring and community stewardship in a productive, team-based work environment. Particularly related to working with private landowners and public organizations to improve land management practices, wildlife habitat and water quality.
