• Report directly to the Company's Controller and responsible for closing the books monthly, preparing and/or reviewing financial statements (income statement, balance sheet and cash flows), account reconciliations, lead the annual audit process, and research accounting issues. • Properly assist other Accountants, on-site managers and third-party contacts with correcting monthly activity and management of payables, receivables and cash accounts.• Analyze financials for each company thoroughly on a monthly basis, detailing variances and correcting errors from input.• Lead in preparation of all materials and correcting entries prior to independent audit on each property.• Manage entire junior accounting staff and provide constructive criticism regarding performance or applications within very unique and independent situations.

• Manage Payables, Receivables, Journals, General Ledger, Property Management, Job Cost and Cash for multiple commercial properties in various sizes and stages of development.• Analyze financials on each property and provide explanations or solutions for each unique situation, including but not limited to cost reduction recommendation, leasing adjustments and structure changes.• Prepare forecast models on both individual properties, administrative entities, and complete portfolio for managing and limited partners.• Audit and maintain personal property and real property taxes, as well as income taxes for all properties.• Oversee and provide feedback for other accountants, entry clerks and at times other departments in their postings, entries and analysis of each project.
