Line support for all mechanical related issues related to plastic injection molded parts, sheet metal parts, heatsinks, packaging, assembly fit and function. Vendor interface for all technical questions related to mechanical parts used in the displays. New model introduction lead with part approval authority for all new parts. Mold tool trial attendee for all new parts, mold trials held in Japan, Korea and United States for approval. Sheet metal tool part approval and tool approval in Japan, Mexico, and United States. ECN and CAR initiation for part changes and quality improvements. Parts quality report initiator, inventory inspection for parts quality and disposition. Drawing creation for metal and plastic parts. Assisted with mechanical lab set up for problem investigation and design change area for our engineering department to work in. ISO9002 and ISO9001 internal auditor, worked with entire company to achieve initial ISO approval for certification. Worked in the procurement department for 1 year to assist buyers with technical issues related to mechanical parts, initiated request for quotes on various mechanical parts including sheet metal, cartons, cushions, plastic injection molded parts, buttons, springs. Request for duplicate tooling for various metal and plastic injection parts. Manufacturing Engineer working at Sony's Maquiladora for 2 years helping junior Mexican engineers to support the production line and set up of Mechanical lab for testing and problem resolution.
