In Tinker BU's annual Catapult Challenge, teams of students build catapults and launch golf balls to test their design and engineering skills. Dr. Ji-Xin Cheng's lab works on a variety of photoacoustic and Raman spectroscopy imaging modalities. I am currently collaborating with fellow researchers to create a wireless Thermoacoustic guide to aid in the reduction of Breast cancer lumpectomy re-operation rates (Published on SPIE). Previously I have developed a photoacoustic tomography method for novel light delivery for whole prostate illumination in prostate cancer diagnostics (Published on OSA).

Teaching students in a Mechanics course at BU by applying pedagogical strategies and dialogic discourse. Helped reinforce concepts and guide students during lecture and office hours.

The Lutchen Fellowship granted the opportunity for me to explore research in Dr. Ji-Xin Cheng's lab. With mentorship and collaborations with other groups at BU and the medical campus, I pursued a photoacoustic project to quantify wound healing.

As a fast paced and growing company, data management and customer relations are a critical component of daily functions. I helped setup the customer relations platform and reconfigure their support center. It was vital that customers received uninterrupted service but the company migrate to a more suitable system. I also coordinated the data migration from Hubspot to reconstruct the customer communications platform. With only a short period of time to make the transitions, I was able to adapt quickly and navigate various softwares such as Salesforce, Desk, ServiceCloud, Hubspot, and Mailchimp. Sage Corps is a selective global entrepreneurship program that sends top college students (Fellows) to study and intern abroad with tech startups. Fellows spend their days alongside CEOs, CTOs, and COOs tackling real problems and building impactful solutions. Knorr-Bremse Powertech designs electrical equipment for power conversion in rail vehicles. In the test department, I worked on circuit board repair, rework, and modification. Most were driver boards in aftermarket and overhaul that needed to be troubleshooted and repaired which required knowledge of schematics, IGBT's, integrated circuits, and more.
