As an instinctive big picture thinker, I am in a fortunate position to split my work time 60/40 between the Global Alliance for Banking on Values and UNICEF Sweden – two impactful organisations that truly work for a more equitable and sustainable future. Both roles are focused on transforming the finance sector in a collaborative and concrete manner, which is exactly what drew me to them.I like to be involved, learning and useful for the world on many fronts, and indeed I am also excited to serve on the boards of the Wellbeing Economy Alliance’s Swedish division and of Medveten Konsumtion, a national organisation that supports Swedish consumers and organisations to make more sustainable and conscious choices. Reflecting my life-long love for storytelling, I am also honoured to be part of the advisory board of NordSIP, the Nordic Sustainable Investment Platform.In all these positions, I can leverage my previous 15 years in investment stewardship, covering the whole range of ESG issues and operating in the intersection of investors, corporations, trade unions, NGOs, policymakers, and those affected by business activities. This provided me with valuable insights into countless stakeholders and topics, not to mention the dynamics between them. Combined with my curiosity and enthusiasm, this systemic awareness and varied experience helps me adapt to all kinds of situations, and I’d like to think I’m pretty good at finding solutions when facing conflicting demands.I’m a big fan of perspective. Broader, deeper, multiple, inclusive, and innovative perspectives. Out of the silos and into the systems. Finding out what motivates other people and embracing new ways of looking at things.I’m also a big fan of the future. I think ahead and long-term, always aim to move forward, and like to convert opportunities into actionable ideas, plans and schemes geared at making a vision into reality. This fandom very much includes the future of the planet and humankind, which I’m committed to contributing positively to.Finally, I’m a big fan of communication. Raising awareness through thought leadership and discussions. Storytelling to inspire people. Facilitating dialogue between a broad range of stakeholders to establish common ground and mobilise action. Away with the polarisation and bubbles.Apart from these drivers, I am exceptionally (read: bordering on embarrassingly) organised. I am a pragmatic optimist who enjoys responsibility and getting things done. I also like sweet potato, sports and Wes Anderson films.
