About Ty Vasquez

Hello! I'm Ty Vasquez, a 2nd-year Georgia Tech civil engineering and material science undergraduate student. I am also a part of Georgia Tech's Honors Program!For as long as I can remember, I have been an engineer -- even if I didn't know it yet. My spark of wanting to be an engineer came from Minecraft, something about it sparked something in my mind that created a passion for the construction and design of buildings. Since then, I have been set on majoring in Civil Engineering and learning how I can impact the world with my creations. A few goals in mind during my time at Georgia Tech are to partake in the BS/MS program for Civil Engineering, conduct undergrad research in my respective field, and gain experience through friends, upperclassmen, and internships.
