The Auckland Diabolo Club is for people who perform Diabolo or Chinese Yoyo. The Auckland Diabolo club performs in the annual Auckland Lantern Festival and other smaller events where we also hold classes to teach people how to play the Diabolo. My role in this club is to organise performance routines and recruit new talents that are valuable to the team.

At Sony, I was given the responsibilities to assist the engineers in the Switch Mode Power Supply Department with their daily operation. My job scope includes but is not limited to: testing for the safety features of the products, altering and improving the PCB boards under the instruction of the engineers and quality assurance checks.Working at Sony gave me the ability to work alongside experienced engineers who taught me valuable knowledge apart from the technical knowledge. They inspired me to be smarter at time management which eventually gave me the ability to manage several tasks at one time during the experience. I also took part in the monthly meetings to give feedback on my internship experience which gave me more confidence in talking to a crowd. Overall, my time at Sony was really enjoyable and useful for the connections it gave me and the bridge it built me to connect my university knowledge and real life applications.
