Hailing from the cultural-rich heritage enclave of the Penang Island, I am intrigued by how history ties could leave indelible footprints on a settlement in social or architectural context. As a firm believer of the genus loci theory, I often find myself questioning whether a place is created by its inhabited entity or the entity is hatched out of a place. Ocassionally, I delve into other realms of the art dimension, be it in visual arts or in literature. These minute appreciation for finer things in life fuel my daily inspiration to design better.
