This role included specifying new equipment and machinery for production facilities, studying and implementing HSE regulations, conducting risk assessments, training and assessing students, reporting student performance within a rigorous examination system, and communicating with other members of staff and accrediting institutions.• While working in London, I was also a freelance carpenter and project manager with clients in theatre and events. This work often required me to work independently of an organizational structure and devise technical solutions within fixed budgets and demanding schedules. • As Project Manager and Director of B Scenic Construction in Edinburgh I worked with a broad range of skilled people in an often-demanding commercial environment. I developed technical solutions, managed material resources, supervised crews, and managed budgets and schedules. Due to the variable nature of projects I have consistently worked with new people, trades, and materials.• As a Project Manager for Eastern Exhibition and Display I delivered multi-faceted projects for clients in the arts, heritage, and museum sectors• As Scenic Projects and Workshop Manager for Catalyst Event Production Services was responsible for delivering exhibition and display projects for clients in the arts, heritage, and commercial sectors.
