Hello, I'm Ziting. I recently graduated from the University of Stuttgart in Germany with a Master's degree in Computational Linguistics. During my studies, I delved into Python, acquiring a solid foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and the theoretical and methodological aspects of natural language processing.One of my notable projects was my thesis, which focused on numerical attribute triple prediction in knowledge graphs. I utilized Python's Pandas library for data processing and PyTorch for building predictive regression and multi-task models. I also explored the significant differences in predicted results under constraint conditions. Additionally, I collaborated with fellow classmates in a data science training program in Taiwan, where we created an AI model to predict whether games on STEAM platform would receive highly-rated reviews. We also utilized a decision tree model to identify key factors influencing the outcome. In this project, I contributed to data cleaning and feature engineering, successfully improving the model's accuracy.With over seven years of experience teaching Mandarin Chinese, including as a guest lecturer at Leiden University in the Netherlands and as a Mandarin teacher at the Language Center of National Taiwan University, I have honed my interpersonal skills, collaborative spirit, and ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet student needs. These skills extend to the field of data analysis, where I excel at translating complex data into clear charts and visuals for analytical reports and presentations, while customizing strategies to fulfill diverse client requirements. While I excelled in my teaching role, I yearned for further challenges. Consequently, due to my passion for language research and interest in the systematic understanding of how machines learn human language. This led me to immerse myself in learning Python and pursue a degree abroad.Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, I adapted by completing my studies remotely while expanding my knowledge and skills in data science and machine learning. As a job seeker, my strengths lie in my fearlessness to step out of my comfort zone, adaptability to new environments, and quick learning abilities. I believe these qualities are highly suited to the ever-evolving field of AI. In the future, I hope to leverage my academic background, work experience, and domain knowledge in language to contribute to product development and make a meaningful contribution to the company.
