As a ramp supervisor i oversee the work of a ramp agent; the equipment handlers, baggage handlers and the aircraft cleaners.As a ramp supervisor i possesses strong analytical and personnel management skills to analyze work orders, determine the amount of work available and effectively assign tasks to the ramp agents. Planes typically follow a strict time schedule, so as a supervisors i have an excellent time management and planning skills to ensure both cargo and baggage is loaded onto or unloaded from a plane within a specified time limit. As a Ramp supervisors i also have a strong computer skills to use aircraft handling software and basic math skills to calculate load weight capacities for various planes.
