Ubaid Ahmad is a Senior Researcher at Etisalat & British Telecom Innovation Center (EBTIC), UAE, where he works on wireless communication and radar systems for various applications. He has over 14 years of experience in research and development in the fields of electrical, electronics, and communications engineering.His core competencies include algorithm design and implementation, prototyping using software defined radios (SDR), indoor localization systems using WiFi, radar signal processing, receiver design for MIMO-OFDM systems, and machine learning for wireless communications. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from KU Leuven, Belgium, and a MSc in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from King's College London, UK. He has also received a doctoral fellowship from the Flemish government and published multiple papers in international journals and conferences.
