About Ubaldo Cella

I began working in the Aeronautical field in 1997 on a project sponsored by “SAAB Aircraft” and developed at the “Royal Institute of Technology” (KTH) in Stockholm (Sweden).I have been working for two years in the R&D division of a multinational industry in the automotive field on turbomachinery design and predesign tools development.I started in 2001 to work in the research division of the Italian aircraft manufacturer “Piaggio Aerospace” as aerodynamic research engineer. I spent four years at CIRA (Centro Italiano Ricerche Aerospaziali) where I was responsible of a national research project (PON) concerning the design and testing of a NLF (Natural Laminar Flow) transonic wing, from the design methodology development to the final high speed wind tunnel tests.
