• Responsible to manage the Mobile Core Network Engineering team that is responsible for Technology introduction, planning and engineering. • Manage the element team to ensure planning, developing and delivering resources needed to support Telkom Retail and Open serve wholesale services and products. Develop technology & resource strategies & policies, as well as plans for network infrastructure. Ensure that network, application & computing resource are deployed, develop new/enhance existing resources & technologies, define processes, assess performance of infrastructure and define, monitor and enforce vendor & national roaming KPI's.• Contribute to the Business Strategy and Business Case formulation• Contribute towards the overall business technology selection and roadmap formulation• Develop and implement tactical plans in line with the overall business strategy• Manage and contribute to the Core and Datacom Network Planning• Contribute to the Core and Datacom Network Costing• Contribute to Network Budget Formulation for Network Build and Expansion initiatives• Participate in procurement activities• Manage CAPEX and OPEX Budgets• Evaluate/ measure supplier performance and implement corrective actions• Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders• Manage and oversee all Project activities• Manage stakeholder interest in accordance with Telkom’s Business Code of Ethics• Forecast Network Resource Requirement in line with business objectives• Ensure compliance of health and safety for the environment• Ensure compliance with internal Telkom and Openserve infrastructure regulations• Initiate and Manage change activities• Human Resources Planning, Recruitment• Manage, recognise and reward performance (staff)• Manage Training and development activities (planning and scheduling)• Participate in dispute resolution and conflict management
