I’m a product leader with nearly a decade of experience leading digital projects and products that create social impact. My passion lies in transforming innovative ideas into products that inspire users and drive growth, with a special focus on expanding access to education for African learners.As Director of Digital Learning at Utiva, one of Africa’s biggest Tech Education scale-ups, I grew program enrollment, training over 15,000 students across 4 countries. My post-program support achieved an impressive 82% success rate for students seeking new roles with their newly acquired tech skills.Currently, I’m the Product Lead at DSNai where I lead the development of our AI solutions. Our flagship model, AfroLLM, a large language model for African Indigenous languages can be fine-tuned for downstream tasks in health, financial inclusion, education, agriculture, and more. I have had the privilege to present this groundbreaking product at global AI and digital technology conferences, establishing myself as a recognized authority in the African AI landscape.With my solid engineering background, I co-designed and developed Africa’s pioneering solar-powered omni-channel learning kiosk. Additionally, I managed operations for the Mastercard-funded Learn At Home project, which provided educational opportunities to over 8 million learners through both offline and online channels during the COVID-19 pandemic.My expertise spans Product Management, Strategy, Design Thinking, UX Research, Project Implementation, Operations Management, and Product Leadership.
