I am an African avant-garde storyteller and filmmaker, with great interest in making films that resonate with people all over the world, using Africa's rich and original stories as a focal point. I am both narrative and documentary filmmaker. Born in a village in Eastern Nigeria with no electricity, no access road, no Internet network, I rose through life challenges to create a voice using my films and media contents. I am also an Experienced Content, Broadcast and Media expert with a demonstrated history of working at the executive level in the broadcast media industry. Skilled in Event Management, Media Relations, Television, Marketing, and Strategic Planning.Right now I am focused on Directing and Producing Films and Corporate Videos for both Nigerian and international clients. Beyond Film, Television and Web, I also help my clients on their Public Relations, Media and Entertainment Consultancy needs.I am the Founder and Executive Director of Coal City Film Festival, the foremost film event in South East Nigeria. I also founded Okike Media, where a group of creatives work daily to create varied exciting media and entertainment solutions for organizations and make films that redefine the African narratives. We were picked as one of the 200 companies in Nigeria out of 5000 applications to Forbes Accelerator programme 2020 for Nigeria companies. I also founded OKIKE TV, gunning to become NO 1 AFRICAN EDUTAINMENT CHANNEL. I also founded Abuja Film Academy, Enugu Film Academy and Okike Media College. A Masters' Degree holder of Theatre and Film Studies from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State. A first degree holder in Theatre Arts from the same university. I also hold certificates in DSLR operations from Canon Inc. I am a proud alumnus of Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP). My experience spans across Media, Entertainment, Events, Theatre, Film and Television with over ten years professional practice experience in the Creative Industry.I directed Nollywood's first One Man cast film, "So Far Away", directed other features "The Final List", distributed by SilverBird Distribution Limited across all theatres in Nigeria and Ghana in 2019. I also directed "The Peeling of Anguish", wrote and directed short films like "Torn" a campaign against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), "Terminated" a pro-life campaign short film, "Bosom Foe" a campaign against rape and sexual harassments to mention a few.
