Padma Multipurpose Bridge Construction Project, Munshiganj, Dhaka

Main project features: The project involved Construction Supervision Consultancy (CSC) Services for the largest and longest Double-deck Road and Railway bridge, Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project, in Bangladesh. The bridge has approx. 9.83 Km length, 4-lane 22.0 m width Roadway deck on top and Single Track Dual Gauge Rail on lower deck. The main bridge is a 6.15 Km Steel Truss Superstructure having 41 Spans and a 3.68 Km Viaduct (Pre-tensioned Super T Girder for the Roadway and Post-tensioned I Girder for the Railway on both sides of the bridge). The sub-structure work includes 42 nos. Piers and Pile caps and around 250 nos. of Racked (Inclined at 1H:6V) Steel Tubular driven Piles of 3.0 m dia. and 32 nos. of cast in situ bored piles in the main bridge.
