JOB RESPONSIBILITY:● RFQ Management, Generating enquiries to suppliers (RM, special process, others), gettingquotes, Techno –Commercial discussion, comparison of quotes, Negotiates with suppliersfor optimum price.● Negotiation for cost and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders.● Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, tools & gauges andlabor expenses.● Establish cost estimates of production processes and tooling costs and review alternatives orput forward recommendations for improvement.● Read blueprints, standards and technical documents in order to prepare estimates.● Investigate and identify cost reduction opportunities through cost analysis review.● Analyze supplier quotes and provide information and data, which aids communications withsuppliers and customers and achieves cost optimization.● Support supplier meetings and negotiations to challenge quotation prices and aim for costreductions to meet target costs.● Determine cost estimate targets during the design and development process, recommendingcost effective solutions.● Recommend ways to make a product more cost effective or profitable.● Communication with the customers regarding technical data, quote status.● Sourcing and identifying suppliers to meet demand or requirement.● Sourcing and Procurement of Raw material or consumable as per demand and minimumstock level /indent from end user.● Communication with the supplier related to cost reduction, lead time, quality, deliverystatus, delivery method (sea or air) etc.● Manage activities related to strategic purchasing, Material requirements planning, Inventorycontrol, warehousing, or receiving.● Carry out process qualifications, manufacturing of FAI part with production in presence ofcustomer.● Follow up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meetManufacturing schedule.● Tracking of manufacturing activities for components and other surface treatment processesas per routing and schedule.● Identify Engineering Problems related to Material, Operation and ensure solutions areimplemented.● Working on process improvement for ensuring operational efficiency & cost optimization.● Assists in Preparation and Implementation of Monthly and Weekly Project Execution Planas per fulfilled customer order status.● All order status reports and Delivery schedule reports are submitted weekly
