AS safety Inspector overall responsibility is loss prevention, Main job activities- Responsible for(a) Issue and control of safety permits(b) Monitoring work on-board and other yard areas to identify potential hazards and instigate remedial actions(c) Coordinating with the vessel safety representative(d) Updating the coordination board on each vessel as required(e) Investigation of accidents and incidents and reporting on same(f) Maintaining safety records for each vessel(g) Emergency response team

 Preparing Monthly HSE Plan and review the plan frequently, to ensure that as a kept up to date for maintaining every specific administration tasks, as filing of incident records & statistics, registration forms induction & toolbox meetings.  Carryout RISK ASSESSMENTS with setting of adequate control measure for all ongoing hazardous specific activities and critical activities of ship repair steel, pipe, conversion and Ship building activities as per client’s/organizational operational control procedures. INCIDENT REPORTING & INVESTIGATION for all incidents/accidents and property damages within the organization, submission of investigation report to management and clients for recommending appropriate preventive actions/measures and procedures and monitor the effectiveness of implemented system by proactive measures. Representation in Inspections & Meetings as safety representative from the organization during all surveillances and client meetings. To explain all the ongoing HSE trends within the organization and provide the all necessary documents for evidential. Instruction and induction for new arrivals about the organization Advice and supervisory personnel on Safety issues about undergoing major repairs and conversions. Undertaking random spot-checks on the site and all types of onboard vessels like crude oil tankers (VLCC and ULCC), product tankers, dredgers, rigs, barges, FPSO, FSRU etc, to check hot work locations and working heights. Reporting of Accidents/Incidents, Damages, Environmental Loss and Near Miss to concern seniors. Maintaining the safety documents of organization, to ensure that the records are kept up to date.Emergency preparedness & rescue:• Execute of emergency preparedness plans for Fire Fighting, Oil Pollution, Chemical Spills and Radioactive materials spills.• Participate in fire drills and rescue operations.• Experienced Fire Fighting and rescue operations on board vessels.• Analysis of Emer
