As a technical member for Mission Biomass promoted the mission and successfully firedBiomass for different thermal power plant reducing CO2 and other pollutants.7). 25 MT waste to energy plant and 600 TPD Torrefaction plant for municipal solid wastewere successfully commissioned at Varanasi.

1). Erection and successful commissioning of Stage-I Kahalgaon 4x210 MW Soviet supplied units inNon-EPC mode having serious issues such as non-sequential, delayed & defective Russian materialsupply, Interface issues, severe IR problems, disintegration of USSR etc.2). As an O&M executive, further contributed in countering the endless O&M issues and stabilizationof units without support of OEM, developed and indigenized all Russian spares. Post COD there isno dependency on Russia for spares. The above actions resulted these units to be selected for oneof the best performing units within India (PLF >94%) and running successfully since last 30 years.3). Historically first time in NTPC & Indian power sector, 210 MW capacity Generator Transformerswere repaired at site by applying innovative idea thereby reducing time by 06 months and openingpathway for all Indian thermal power stations.4). Post 25 years of running, first RLA of Farakka 3x210 MW BHEL units & major overhaulings including modifications in Ansaldo Italy make 2x500 MW units were successfully done. It improvedreliability, availability & efficiency of units.5). Kahalgaon 3x500 MW BHEL units were successfully erected & commissioned, even by deployinglocal available sub-contractors including civil agency M/s. ERA for Boiler Non-pressure parts underNTPC direct supervision. (Project was facing serious technical & IR issues thereby main vendorsfailed and give up the work in halfway).
