Managing Pre Sales for Banking and Financial Services Unit of TCS-South Africa.

Currently working as a delivery manager and heading the pre sales for one of the major South African banks. Have been part of the team for 5 years. Based out of India after operating out of Johannesburg for 4 years. I have single handedly contributed to the business growth in the Investment Banking side of the bank. Have managed to improve the sales in this area by a phenomenal 1000% in a span of 1.5 years. This was a virgin territory earlier. Initially was involved in managing, delivery of projects of all sizes and production support including mainframe technologies. Have worked as an Informatica developer at offshore for a Retail Bank based out of USA. Have worked as a module lead for a USA based automaker. I was based out of Detroit during this assignment and was involved in developing and delivering projects based on Mainframe technologies. (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2). Onsite and offshore team coordination and mentoring new associates were the major activities I was involved in. Have been part of mainframe development team for an US based auto finance and leasing company. My primary responsibilities were coding using COBOL, JCL, IMS DB, VSAM. Apart from the above responsibilities I was also involved in requirement gathering and onsite/offshore co-ordination activities.
