As the first head of the newly formed books division at Businessworld, India's top business magazine, I was responsible for conceiving and executing more than 10 books -projects. Among the titles were " Doing Business with China", Businessworld industry reports on the Indian BPO and Biotech industries, Guide to Carefree Retirement, Guide to Insurance for SMEs, Creating Wealth for Your Children. The books involved knowledge partners such as Ernst & Young, Mercer among many others.I was also responsible for the first salary survey conducted in the magazine in association with knowledge partner Gallup.

During 1995-97, the team conducted extensive research involving in-house research, structured and unstructured interviews with 750 top professionals in the financial services, pharmaceuticals and automobiles industry.
