Uday is a Harvard and MIT Sloan alumni, a Post Graduate Bachelors Mechanical Engineer with 30 years of Projects, Construction, Operations and Maintenance Management experience professional on off-shore as well as on-shore projects for Oil & Gas including Refinery, LNG and Gas conditioning plants, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Fertilizers, Power and Water sectors•Plan, Supervise, Direct and Control the Construction-Commissioning activities for the set up of Plant installations including Utilities.•Responsible for the health and safety of employees by creating a strong organizational culture and effectively manage safety, health and environmental safety risks in the workplace.•Ensure that Technical support is provided to achieve the objectives as charted out in the Process Safety Management - PSM and Process Safety.•Ensure safe and Efficient maintenance to meet the Production, HSE and KPI Targets.•Expediting of Project work including Installation and commissioning of the equipment and machinery.•Develop and manage the section business plan & budget in accordance with agreed short and long term goals.•Create, maintain and improve the technical services team so that it achieves its targets and continues to do so over time by ensuring competence and adequacy of technical resources.•Ensure that advice, testing and product quality control services are provided in a safe, reliable & efficient manner.•Corresponding with the vendor parties, getting quotation for the spares, preparing regular purchaserequisitions/indents for the spares and consumable items. •Ensure availability of suitable Spares and consumables.•Supervise Installation and Commissioning of Rotating Machinery and Static Equipment.•Review and Evaluate Performance of Staff and Plant Equipment and Machinery.•Recommend necessary Repairs and Modifications, Methods of Improvement, etc.•Experience in Repair, Installation of rotary and static equipment, process piping equipment, tank and vessels, etc.•Involvement in Plant Support Services like Painting, Scaffolding, Cranes as per KPI’s.•Providing mechanical support for start-up and commissioning activities including witnessing ofpre-commissioning and commissioning activities.•Impart Training and develop learning resources for the development of staff.•Collect and analyze equipment fault/breakdown data, identify root causes and prepare failureanalysis report.Specialties: Projects, Construction, Operations, Maintenance and Commissioning Management
