During the 2019/2020 school year I was posted in Yiwu where I taught Pre-Calculus 12, Calculus 12, Physics 12, Chemistry 12, Science 10, ADST 10 (Computer Studies), Life Sciences 11 and Economics 12 over two semesters. We we're a small department in the high school and I assisted wherever I could. For the 2020/2021 school year, I was transferred to Wuhan and I taught students based there from South Africa remotely. I taught Pre-Calculus 11 and 12 and Calculus 12.

As a teacher for ADEK, I taught Science to grade 7 to 9 boys. I was employed to teach Physics to grades 10 to 12, however, the school that I was deployed to had a teacher in that role already and I was asked to teach Science to grades 7 to 9, which I accepted.

1. Attended numerous workshops for teaching content and pedagogy for both Mathematics and Physics hosted by private institutes as well as the public Department of Education.2. Appointed as the Acting Head of Physics at Newcastle High School from 2016 - 2017 where I was responsible for overseeing that the curriculum as a whole was delivered by the educators to the learners at the highest quality; drawing up budgets for the Physics Department; monitoring and evaluating the other teachers in the Physics Department; and ensuring that assessments were of the highest acceptable standards as laid out by the Department of Education.3. Appointed as the cluster coordinator for grade 12 Mathematics 2015 - 2016 where I was responsible for not only ensuring that my school provided assessments of the highest standards as laid out by the Department of Education but also other schools within my cluster; moderating and evaluating work done by students in my school as well as other schools within my cluster; and hosting cluster meetings to discuss and brainstorm ideas with regards to best pedagogical/content practices with regards to not only grade 12 Mathematics but High School Mathematics in general.4. Appointed as a grade 12 marker for the National Senior Certificate Examinations for Physics in 2011 and Mathematics from 2012 - 2014; thereafter, I was promoted to a senior marker for Mathematics from 2015 - 2016.
