In Fibering I'm working as main system administrator, my work consist in the restructuring of the systems to move on a cloud architecture, to be able to offer a more wide range of solution to our customers with software Proxmox, Docker, LXC. Implanting an "Agile way" to manage projects, and deploy solutions to support the workflow of the technical area using product like Gitlab. Configuring the systems to be more automated in the day-by-day operations with tools like Puppet and Ansible.Thinking that I.T. mean really "Information Technologies", so, working seriously to build solutions to "produce more with less" and kill the "time-wasting-tasks".

This company is the I.T. department of one of the most important email marketing company, Lucini&Lucini. My role was senior system and network administrator, and my work was to take the ownership of many datacenters located around the world. Most of the work was to improve the architecture, implementing technologies to automate the management of all the servers, restructure the environments to improve the capacity. The most used tools to manage the environment were Puppet, Gitlab, Dokers, Kibana.

Employed as senior network and system administrator, my job was to manage the cloud environment core business of the company. As a cloud service, most of the work was to improve the automation of most of the technical task, and to provide a high level of technical support to the customer in case of analisys, problems or requested new implementations. One of the plus of this experience was to improve my knowledge on software configuration management like Puppet or Ansible to automates software provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment. Here I started some real application of use on Doker.

During this period i was a consultant for various company in the city of Milan. Most of the work was for a company working in the money transfer market. My work was to plan a migration of the datacenter between two country. Another job was for a web agency, and my work was to implement a platform to automate the deploy of the code in various environment, thru code validation, dummy data creation in test environment, or the deploy in production avoiding any service degradation. In this experience I moved most of my interest to improve the use of software provisioning like Ansible or configuration management on Puppet and Chef.

My work consisted in the restructuring of the IT infrastructure. Due to the lack of a senior technician, my activities were focused on correcting the existing problems on the network, based on Cisco equipment, Juniper, Extreme; and systems, based mainly CentOS and Debian Linux and VMware virtualisation. In the final part of the counseling I worked on technical training of technical staff and the establishment of practices for infrastructure management.

This experience in Germany was an extension of the previous kind of work i made in Milan, Italy. Most of the company i worked with, have the Information Technology as primary business. One of the most long work was for a development factory focused on develop application for mobile device (phone, tablet, phablet...) and my work was to create an environment that the developer can focus his work on the code and forget completely all unrelated stuff. In this way the developer can work without anything that can slow down the developing process. The solution started with the substitution of every computer with a solution based with thin client, and to create a system that can permit to develop the code for the applications, build, test, benchmark and deploy to standard repository as Google Play Store, always with the minimun effort of the developer.

During this period i was a consultant for various company in the city of Milan. My works was to support different kind of demands, starting to understand the flow of the work and to find and resolve any possible problems, and in the end to develop new solutions that can improve the efficiency of the work made by the company.The kind of custormer i had during this period start from a web agency to a service provider, passing by corporate company that don't have the I.T. as a primary business.

In this experience i was the only network and system administrator and all the servers and network device were under my management. My work was to guarantee a high level of functionality of the service offered by Mobango and to support the developer group about their work and to solve every kind of problems.

In Techub S.p.a. my work was the coordination of a team of technicians on jobs of consultant in banking or financial company and medium size society. My principal activity consisted in the design of architectures according the requirements of the customer and in case of acceptance of the proposal, to arrange the implementation through a team. The technologies used in networking field were Cisco and Checkpoint; and in system field were Ibm Aix, Sun Solaris and Vmware, and solutions of storage were Veritas, IBM and Cisco. One of the successful project that i done was the moving of the datacenter, from Rome to Dublin, for the biggest company in international money tranfer in Italy using a network to create a layer 2 network between the to datacenter, and the virtualization to move the service with a maximum downtime never more five minutes.

In Domestika Invest S.r.l. I manage the IT group dedicated to the maintenance and development of the computer infrastructure in the main store and in the stores displaced on the territory. I have strongly taken care personally the migration to a solution based on thinclient's infrastructure to get a sensitive reductions of the TCO on the technology department. Contemporarily and gradually introducing software solutions to support the workflow, to reduce the times of management of the products from the phase of order to that of post sale. Based infrastructure exclusively on Microsoft systems, with the gradually and calculated introduction of Unix environments in critical situations to guarantee high reliability of the service.

A consultant job in the greatest group in the field of the telecommunications in Portugal, Portugal Telecom (PT). My activity was working in collaboration with the CTO for the restructuring of the Atlantic backbone interconnections to the foreign company that PT own in south america and north africa. I reorganize the plan of addressing and the preparation of a parallel network in IPv6, also a creation of new services for the management of the network according to the specifications of the division Atlantic Backbone.The last part of my work was to make an audit about the network security in the East, based in the city of Macao.

As technical manager I had coordinated a group ten people of the group Lan & Security in the Corporate division. Our principal job was the management of the whole datacenter of Tiscali in Cagliari from which all the services were distributed to end users and also inside company, not only for Italy but also for the countries in which Tiscali was present. The assignments went from the day-by-day to the realization of new services, taking care of the aspects of network and security. Under my responsibility we managed the restructuring of the network during the migration of the datacenter from five different site to one new central datacenter, and the implementation of advanced services as the streaming of events live via multicast, like the Mandela concert in South Africa or the migration of the Security systems based on Cisco Acl configured on the Cisco 12K routers to Cisco Firewall Blade. My job spaces on matters that go from the Lan (bgp, ospf, span-tree, etc.) to the security (vpn, ids, firewall, etc.) widened by the responsibilities toward the group.

I managed the area Networking in the Seat group, the editor of Yellow Pages On Line in Italy. The first work i made was the taking in charge from the precedent company (Matrix) all the systems and the migration inside the network of Seat, and also the creation of the Autonomous System for Seat. I have restructured the whole network switch based on Cisco Catalyst layer 3 switch , parallel also the activation of a system of monitoring and management of the devices of network. The area under my responsibility contain also the management of the security through firewall CheckPoint and IDS system made by opensource softwares.

Employed in the area Data Network I managed the implementation of the switching infrastructure in the servers farm. I manage the peering BGP and the inside routing with OSPF and Eigrp and the security of the network. I had planned the infrastructure of network and various solutions for our customers. I have projected and started the environment of Network Management through software of monitoring like Mrtg and NetSaint. I have planned and started the system of billing of traffic through NetFlow on the routers and switch Cisco, and system of collector and extraction on Unix servers.

In Unisource Italia I worked on the management of the networking and the systems, the group was called Value Added Service (VAS) . Inserted in the division "Infrastructure and Platform" my work was the management of the network (mainly routing Ospf and BGP) and implementin particular services as the Load Balancing and the Security by firewalls. I worked in the jump from the old infrastructure based on Switch 3Com, 3500 CoreBuilders, to the new one with the Cisco Catalyst 6500. I have personally taken care of the evolution of the internal network based on Layer 3 switching with products Cisco and 3Com and also the migration of relative internal services. I have participated in the implementation of the customer "Sole 24 Ore" and managed the aspects of implementation and maintenance of the network infrastructure and part of the system area. I have participated in the planning and started the work of the Network Management, system based on HP OpenView.

In Enter S.r.l. I've started as a system administrator, which meant to manage the servers Windows NT and Unix with relative services offered on Internet, like the service of mail (smtp/pop3), dns, web, electronic commerce, ftp, statistics of use of the various services and backup of the data on the servers. I have managed a services of directory based on the standard ldap to speedup the lookup of mails and user login. Management of the security of the various servers and the relative services. As network administrator my works started on the management of the routers Cisco but after a while my job included also the study and the planning of new network topologies for the Enter S.r.l. and it's customers. Among my assignments there was the management of the routing both OSPF (Inside) and the international and national BGP. I worked on a system for the network monitor based on snmp (like Mrtg, Sun Solstice and NetSaint).

Experience started by some acquaintances in the Epoch Internet, ISP of the oriental coast. Entered as technician working on the systems unix Sun Solaris, Sco, Digital, and a year later a couple of test about a new operative system called Linux. I managed the services of hosting and housing, included the services of news (nntp) with the Inn software. In this first working experiences i had my basic teaching on the routers Cisco (1000, 2500, 4000) and on the networking, that brought me the bases of my knowledges of networking. Very formative experience for the professional point of view and human side. Cause some family problem in my family in Italy i was forced to return.
