Lead eMMC product validation activity as a PO which included bringing up a new team of 8 members technically to deliver validation artifacts for FW qualification.As a technologist, my role requires me to perform requirement gathering for internal / external stakeholders, understanding the architecture and developing / improving the validation test plans. Map the requirements to the infrastructure changes and get it implemented with various internal stake holders. Perform analysis of the requirements and give out risk analysis based on the features and changes to those features. Create system validation specification for entire team to use as a guide post for further validation activities. Perform training and tutorial session for TLs on all the validation items. Have a good understanding for FTL layer and validation that needs to be done to ensure the correct implementation of these FTL algorithms. Hands on experience on Platforms, DVT boards, FVT simulators, Lab CI infrastructure, Failure Analysis tools with end to end understnading of the Validation pipeline used for FW Verfiication activity.

Working on Blackbox and Whitebox testing of eMMC, UFS Firmwares. As part of white-box testing, run the FW in simulation environment to effectively test various algorithms such as Bad block management, Wear Leveling, End of Life, Background operation. This is performed by understanding the FW and inserting call backs at certain places to get FW internal information.As part of black-box testing, developing and running various stress tests, performance tests, temperature profile, graceful and ungraceful power tests and specific scenarios required by customer in android environment with detailed analysis of the results.Firmware Verification for eMMC and UFS products with deep understanding of test framework and test suite used. Perform failure analysis of the FW issues before release to customer and Reproduce and support in RMAs after FW released to customer.Working on different segments of flash products related to Automotive, Computing, Connected Home, Mobile, Generic.Provide various properties of the product in temperature profile for different segments, performance details and other internal measures.
