Tom Uduak holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Uyo and Post Graduate Diploma in Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) from the University of Lagos. He started his professional career with Kilburn Advertising after his NYSC. He co-formed Good Measure Advertising in 2001 and worked there till 2003 when he left there as the Head, Strategic Planning and Development to join UAC Plc - MR. Biggs Division and worked there till 2005 when he joined ABC Plc to assist in establishing the Brands and Media Department of the company. He functioned there as the Head, Brand Management and Media Relations and packaged the brand to the Initial Public Offer and subsequent listing of the stock at the Nigeria Stock Exchange. He was appointed the Head, Corporate Services and Marketing in 2008 and was later promoted in 2010 to the post of Commercial Manager. He has undergone several trainings within this period which includes: Managing the Public Relations (PR) Function in a Technology-Driven Business Environment; Customer Satisfaction & Bonding; Building A Customer-Centric Organization & Maximizing Profit among others.His work experience spans a period of over 15 years in marketing and advertising, general management functions in media relations, corporate communications, brand management and positioning. He has hands-on experience in all aspects of the media (print, electronic, online), and subsequently using that experience to build and manage brands by developing expertise and building experience in CSR issues, policies and strategies through years of informal consultancies and strategy work.
