SLPA was the leading maritime services provider in Sri Lanka and operated a wide range of services including port management, maritime operations, container handling, and cargo logistics. The organization managed and operated the Port of Colombo, which was the largest port in Sri Lanka and a vital hub for transshipment in the region. As a trainee marine engineer at SLPA, i would have been involved in various activities related to the maintenance and operation of the port's infrastructure and vessels. This experience was valuable in developing your career as a marine engineer.
