9 Years in leadership fly by in the blink of an eye! Recently created a new student technology services department to manage our 16,000+ pieces of technology and we are off to a great start by delivering 3,000 devices to our students in 9 counties. I've been fortunate to work with a great team in a great environment and I'm proud of the work we've been able to accomplish. We've recently revamped our network stack, upgraded our wireless infrastructure, camera system, firewalls, installed a new VOIP system, created a new support department and re-created our proprietary SIS called Launchpad. We also purchased over 12,000 new Chromebooks/laptops/desktops/Macbooks that we were able to save a combined $753,000 through due diligence, great partnerships, and aggressive negotiations.Next on our horizon is to focus on improving our systems and processes to make the job far easier for our teachers and office staff so they can do what they do best (provide high quality instruction for our students)! I'm looking forward to the next 15 years!
