Part-time work during the study at the university , which became later full-time.In this company I was working in a project to develop an electronic system of selling train tickets (Express-UZ), which ran on IBM S/390 platform using CICS Transaction Server and IBM DB2.The development of this project was a refactoring the old system , written in the Soviet Union in assembly language for systems based on comparex, without access to source code and with consultations of the previous… Show more Part-time work during the study at the university , which became later full-time.In this company I was working in a project to develop an electronic system of selling train tickets (Express-UZ), which ran on IBM S/390 platform using CICS Transaction Server and IBM DB2.The development of this project was a refactoring the old system , written in the Soviet Union in assembly language for systems based on comparex, without access to source code and with consultations of the previous developers.Development was carried out on the Cobol language using the IBM VisualAge for Os/2, 4JL language and as a DBMS - IBM DB2.I participated in the project to development of the financial and economic part of the complex and the exchange of financial information between different data centers (6 pcs. Ukraine and data exchange with neighboring countries ) using Cobol and C++ for os/390. After the start of commercial operation of the project, I was involved in the optimization of database performance. Participation in this part of the project has allowed me to improve my knowledge of the DBMS, his works and administration, thus improving the programming in SQL.Also I'm involved in the project to the conclusion of data on the passengers information board. This project includes development of data replication between databases in the C++ language using IBM DB2 API, and the development of the control panel for the manualy start of the replication on the REXX language. I participated in the pilot project to develop a client-server application for the ticket seller workplace. This project was planned as an java application using IBM Websphere as a server and IBM MQSeries as a data transport agent.
