During my university experience at the Polytechnic of Turin, I developed the basic skills required to an Aerospace Engineer focusing on experimental and numerical aerodynamics. Then, I had the chance to improve my abilities thanks to the beautiful experience carried out in Ducati Corse, during which I wrote my Master Thesis. I worked at Leonardo, Aircraft division, and I was part of the Aeroelasticity team, following the M-345 and M-346 programs.I'm currently working at Pininfarina S.p.A. as Aerodynamics & Aeroacoustics Senior Engineer.I describe myself as a hard worker, I can work independently, plan the objectives to be achieved, always trying to get the best results and paying attention to the details, that always make the difference.

I worked on:• M-345 program: it is a new generation trainer aircraft, aimed at the basic-advanced phases of the pilot training syllabus.• M-346 program: it is the most advanced jet trainer and has been designed for a wide range of training capabilities, long-term reliability and cost-effective operations.I was part of the aeroelasticity team and I performed static and dynamic aeroelastic calculations. Master Thesis Student
I wrote my master thesis working together with Ducati Corse Aerodynamics team.Abstract: In this thesis, conducted in collaboration with DucatiCorse, an innovative shape of a MotoGP vehicle front mudguard has been studied in order to improve the cooling performance of the radiators. A preliminary CFD analysis of the basis configuration, performed through the OpenFoam software, allowed to identify the key points to focus for the developement of the new variants. In particular, it has been decided to control the separation in the end section of the baseline mudguard and to develop turning vanes to be installed on the sides of the component. The solutions have been first realized through the technique of geometric morphing and simulated in CFD. The best configurations obtained have been then refined with a CAD modeling software and tested in the wind tunnel. This required the optimization of the measurement chain necessary to evaluate the motorcycle aerodynamics coefficients. The experimental results obtained allowed to select a configuration of the front mudguard able to reach a significant increase in the cooling performance of the oil radiator, against an acceptable worsening of the aerodynamics coefficients, ensuring the achievement of the objectives set.
