About Ufuk Erdal Ph.D., P.E.

More than 25 years of diverse experience on planning, pilot testing, capacity and condition assessment, performance, preliminary and final design, equipment procurement, permitting and commissioning of MBR and advanced treatment facilities preliminary used in non potable and potable reuse applications. He led the studies to identify pathogen removal capabilities of MBR systems in two full scale MBR facilities in Nevada. This effort resulted in getting the first regulatory approval in USA that acknowledged MBR disinfection capabilities. He served as the director at the Water Research Foundation of Directors between 2017 and 2020 to develop sustainable water management solutions for communities in USA and around the world using cutting edge research.
