Studio Design. Recording Engineer, Mixing, Mastering.

Lead signer and musician in post-rock/alternative band from Latvia. Writing lyrics, composing music, playing guitar, keyboards and other instruments.

5 month long internship dealing with line array simulations, grouping effects. Development of MATLAB based beamforming calculator using given geometry. DSP and multi-output interface for sound card was implemented for measurements and listening tests. Simulation scripts for use with ABEC (BEM, Direct Sound) software were also implemented. Fully operational software with GUI was developed. Various experiments and simulations were done to assess the limitations of grouping. Main used tools: MATLAB, ABEC, GLLViewer, VACS, LTFAT/PLAYREC library.

Recording of audio lectures, seminars and commercials. Did editing and other post-production work.

Worked mainly as a sound & system engineer with a number of additional responsibilities: • Live sound mixing of various events ranging from ceremonies and theatre plays to festivals of up to 10,000 attendees,• Sound system maintenance, setup, alignment at site and monitoring during events. Troubleshooting and light repairs,• Planning of equipment logistics, hiring and team leading.
