I am a SMEDAN Licensed Business Development Service Provider."Our #Proptech start-up HXafrica, was the 3rd best graduate from the Founders Institute Abuja Cohort 3 Accelerator and is currently awaiting SEC License for launching""We are a Tekedia Capital Portfolio Start-up"For 10 years and counting, I have been within the Built Environment in various capacities.From a multinational construction company where I served in the project team, I moved to a Property Law Firm and then to a Real Estate Development company where I rose to an Executive position as the Country Business Development Manager.I lead a team as Chief Strategist in a burgeoning consultancy company that provides unusual premium solutions in business development, media, marketing, management (project and facility), and technology solutions to the real estate industry.My focal project is housingexchange.ng a proptech start-up which I founded to provide a solution to the perennial problems of the real estate industry in sub-saharan Africa:- Problem of High Entry Point- Problem of illiquidity - Problem of Inadequate Funding We are channeling our focus on the middle to low class (starting with Nigeria) which make up about 79% of the population and who evidently have some disposable income (by reason of the proliferation of ponzi schemes in the country) , We want to give them a genuine investment option by breaking real estate investment into affordable fractions and offering it as investment products to this social class with a added feature of being able to convert this to cash at anytime at the touch of a button.We then aggregate this funds to provide much needed finance to the users in the real estate industry.We have been given a go-ahead in principle by the SEC to develop the platform while they guide us on aligning to appropriate regulation and getting the requisite licenses.We were one of the 8 start-ups out of 32 start-ups to graduate from Founders Institute accelerator program Abuja Cohort 3
