I worked in the GIS center of Dubai Municipality on the project of Dubai Building Permit & Control (DBPC). The project aims to build a new software system to automate the complete permitting and control processes, which includes all the steps and procedures required to construct a building completely, from the stage of obtaining the land map, NOCs, building permit, and then all steps of the actual implementation and work in the sites, supervision, until the certificate of completion, and then the procedures for delivery of services until the final delivery of services such as water, electricity, sewage and telephone to shorten the time and effort to the land owners, consultants, contractors, and other governmental NOC partners.

Responsibilities:-----------------------• Analyze new applications and change requests and generate new solutions for the company projects or ideas.• Plan the business process to schedule tasks activities; estimate effort and time.• Conduct Elicitation Analysis then conduct meetings to verify requirements.• Track and fully document (SRS) Software Requirements Specifications.• Develop Hi-Fi interactive HTML prototypes for proposed business solutions using prototyping software tools.• Assist Development Team Leader in developing ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram).• Review product before the customer receives UAT (User Acceptance Test) to ensure complying with SRS.• Evaluate and take approval from CCB (Change Control Board) for customer change requests and maintain the requirements traceability to identify change effects.• Gap Analysis between current solution and the desired solution.• Research for solutions, competitors, and tools for achieving a competitive edge.• Compare the company products and the competitors.• Research and prepare statistical and analytical reports using different data collection technique. • I worked as a part-time software developer along with my undergraduate study.• I participated in developing the new Al-Khazen HR system which was a new module in Al-Khazen ERP system.• I was developing using Delphi 2007 and SQLServer 2000.

• This was a summer internship in INFRA company under the supervision of senior technicals.• I had several training sessions and take small tasks to get hands-on experience. • The focus of this internship was to Visual Studio, C#.NET and SQLServer.
