An alumnus of the Urban Fellows Programme at IIHS and an architect from CEPT University, Ujjvala has worked at the intersection of research, policy, and design in the urban for the last few years. She is currently working as a researcher at WELL Labs as part of the Urban Water project on adapting and scaling decentralised wastewater reuse technologies. Previously, she has worked at ATREE on a project understanding the effects of heatwaves and climate change in Bangalore, and on a project mainstreaming access to skilled jobs for women construction workers at INHAF. She has also worked as a researcher for the Indian School of Public Policy, writing case studies for the Capacity Building Commission on government initiatives undertaken by civil administrators, and at the Centre for Policy Research as a Consultant for the India Housing Report.
