Working in the Platform Independent team of Switch Engine(EXOS) - Extreme Networks' switching platform for Campus and Edge .· Lead engineer for the Python migration project to upgrade Switch Engine’s Python infrastructure to v3.8 from the obsolete v2.7. The year-long project involved efforts from ten engineers across teams working on multiple applications, libraries, build scripts and C-extension modules without disrupting product release(s).· Leading an effort to bring OpenAPI-based REST management to Switch Engine as part of a company-wide effort to provide a unified programmable interface across products.· Implemented Github Action workflows along with adding linting and auto-formatting tools across multiple code repositories to improve developer workflow.· Drove adoption of OpenAPI specification, a machine-readable interface file for describing, producing, consuming, and visualizing RESTCONF.· Performed a key role in improving performance of Switch Engine's RESTCONF interface by a factor of ten.· Developed command line interface for the unified licensing project as part of the infrastructure team.· Trained GTAC team on troubleshooting the Switch Engine's License Manager developer for the unified licensing project.

Worked in the Platform Infrastructure team of EXOS - Extreme Networks' Network Operating System for Campus and Edge switching platform.· Initiated and implemented support for the programmable RESTCONF/JSONRPC interface of EXOS in Ansible, and was critical in communicating with the Ansible Open Source network team and the community.· Onboarded and mentored two interns to deliver Ansible modules enabling management of core EXOS features.· Develop, test, review, document of standard and proprietary YANG models, and their RESTCONF implementations.· Core developer of the Configuration Manager, a central module of EXOS infrastructure, addressing some long standing limitations and streamlined the debug process for bugs which cut down the time to resolution by three days.· Implemented and enhanced features across various EXOS modules in addition to fixing critical bugs.
