Slalom and Google partnered with a client in the banking industry on a huge digital transformation. As part of this, the bank needed to modernize its recruitment strategy and rapidly scale up its technical teams. I advised this client on talent acquisition strategy, embedded a new recruiting model, and managed end-to-end recruitment as an extension of their internal TA team. This culminated in being recognised by the CTO and others as creating the winning formula with the hiring team. This enabled me to promptly and efficiently make the most hires during my time with the client. I helped hire skilled and diverse technical talent across Data and Analytics (Data Engineering and Data Science) and Security (Application Security and Cloud Security).

JPMorgan Chase is a leader in investment banking, financial services, financial transactions processing and asset management.I supported the pilot of a new hiring model (as part of the AMS RPO team) to deliver a huge expansion of technical teams across the US. I primarily focused on Software Engineers (Java, C#, .NET, and Angular) in Chicago.This role had a big impact on the individual software engineers who joined the firm and the teams they are now supporting. The teams are now equipped to deliver more efficient, faster, and ultimately better solutions for customers.

I also spent 12 months as a Team Lead (Recruitment Operations) which focused on the day-to-day operation and development of a team of 25 to deliver the best recruitment service possible to our stakeholders and candidates. This was a high-volume role focused on customer service and core banking roles.

Fircroft is a global engineering recruitment specialist. I recruited mainly within the nuclear, aerospace, defence, and energy industries from small suppliers through to large established companies. This included sourcing large numbers of talented engineers and making quality placements with Ansaldo Nuclear. This supported the successful tender to be the MSP for all of their recruitment.This was a fantastic start to my career in recruitment, in particular building up a niche and specialism in an area I previously didn't have a clue about - Mechanical Engineers!
