Rich and varied experience of around 2 decades in the IT Industry, primarily in IT Infra and Virtual infrastructure space across industries and organization sizes.Having joined the public sector giant, Steel Authority of India Ltd at Bokaro Steel Plant after engineering in 1992, went on to start a BBS (Bulletin Board Service) in Bokaro in 1997, becoming a mini ISP providing Email and Usenet Newsgroup to clients using UUCP via dialup connections.Came to Bangalore in the year 2000 and played the role of a Linux System Administrator and IT Manager before getting into the entrepreneurial mode with Kavach Networks in 2004.Was deeply (and passionately) involved with many open-source projects and IT Infra services on Linux, including Firewall, Proxy, Email/Web servers and Cloud/virtualization solutions. It was greatly satisfying working with many clients and being a partner in their success, by creating and delivering solutions that helped them stay ahead in their businesses.Created small private cloud setup for hosting services colocated at a ISP data-centre in Bangalore. Instrumental in managing and building simple to use custom business applications on web and mobile for clients to enable them to handle business data and processes with ease and efficiently.It has been fun learning, solving and growing with the evolution of technology and humongous growth in market needs for technology driven solutions for every aspect of life.
